Stage three load shedding strikes

Does not affect me tonight,will be think of the rest while watching tv and eating a hot dinner
 
CityPower website working for anybody? Seems dog slow

And City Power's website is at a crawl so I can't even check the schedule. This fscking country...
 
Just another point... I spent 2.5 hours trying to get somewhere in randburg this afternoon. Nothing was working. I eventually turned around and came home. Question is, why are all these traffic lights, especially the main roads, still connected to the grind? I would have thought after 2008 they would all be solar led

Because solar panels and batteries last a week before they're stolen.
 
How long should stage 3 outages last for? We've had no power since 2pm....
 
The city power site is working for me. If anyone needs a screenshot for an area, let me know.

Fairlands / Windsor / Kelland / Malanshof are up now, but due to be load shedded tomorrow morning 06:00 - 10:30, and then again 22:00 - 02:30.

My bad, not thinking again, dehydration from sitting in traffic(jan, apartheid etc)... ask a western question, get an african answer:D
