An un-motivated explosion, usually in an action movie or film. The word originated from the director Micheal Bay (Transformers 1 and 2, Pearl Harbor, and The Island) who notoriously blows up a considerable amount of objects in his films that would normally never explode.

Its also his signature flying camera move and general Bayhem that's quite irritating
But the goverment needs guys like him to push US jingoism so he'll always be employed.

Star Trek Beyond Reportedly Failing to Meet Paramount's Box Office Expectations

Star Trek Beyond is one of the most critically acclaimed films this summer, but it's struggling to go beyond Paramount's box office expectations. Trek News reports that the film sits at $198.2 million, which is above its 185 million budget, but still far frm what Paramount was aiming for. For the studio to consider it a success, the film would supposedly need to gross $300 million, but with a 48% drop in sales during its second week, it does't seem like it will reach the goal.

I'm actually not surprised with the film's lackluster performance at the box office. The amount of promotion they put out for the film prior to its release seemed weak. Even the first trailer was criticized by fans for its Beastie Boys music.

While I enjoyed some of the visual spectacle of Star Trek Beyond, I actually thought that it's the weakest of the rebooted films, but our reviewer Dave Gigg seemed to enjoy it more. You can check out his review here.

Easily the best of the reboot movies. Much better balance between the pacing of the old Star Trek movies and the new JJ Abraham's explosion every 5min way of doing things.

Basically it feels like a real Star Trek movie.

Love the line 'there's no such thing as the unknown. Only the temporarily hidden'.

I enjoyed the movie but surely Starfleet are getting annoyed at replacing the Enterprise every movie. Would it be possible to have one movie where the ship is not a total right off?

Throughout the series, James manages to wreck every vehicle he drives/captains. His insurance premiums must be legend...wait for it....ary!

Good movie but more forgettable then the previous 2.

Getting a bit tedious as the villians are are just variations of one another.
