Got it this morning already from Kalahari at R460. Screw that not waiting in any queues.
 
Got the collectors edition at CNA this morning. They still had many left. All other places were sold out and only had the normal version. Collectors edition is well worth it. Has a lot of extra stuff!
 
LOL I'm gonna wait till end of next month to many expenses this month : ( , still thinking to maybe get it, but gonna be really broke for the rest of the month. Will most likely just wait a month.. I really want the original, so I won't download this.

I already have uncapped :p It's not the download I am worried... it's the price. R570 gets me 60 gigs of download with Afrihost... or uncapped 4 mbps from a few other providers.

But with Blizzard I only get one game? For R570??? (the digital download version).

That is completely insane. Complete rip-off.

I'll wait six months and buy it when it drops below R300. No need to be a sheep.

Version 1.1 patch should be out by then as well :p

By waiting for a "more convenient time" to get it, actually makes you a sheep..... 50% of us voted for that option in the poll.

I would call them the smart ones. How does being in the majority automatically make you a sheep?

I would say the dumb ones who paid excessive amounts of money are the sheep.

The smart ones are the ones who save. Not so?
 
I wouldnt want the digital download version even if it was R150. You just miss out on too much stuff.

Well my plan was to train on the prirated version and then get the original when the price is like R100 or something..

Then buy it and play it online..
 
Loved the first one, but i think with my PC, ill barely play the 2nd one, Maybe one day when i am grown up, (or my kid)
 
Whats the minimum system specs?

Can I play it on a dual core notebook with ati x1100 graphics & 2GB RAM?

MW2 is the best game ever released (6 hours a day at least online since release) and SC2 the second best :)
 
I've seen crappy pentium notebooks with intel gfx run scII. It should run on just about anything.

Fro something we have all be waiting for all these years for ??? R460?? (as always you are ripped off).
Its worth the wait. You just cant afford it so go get the rip.
I just bought myself a present for R460 and my world is not shattered...... and I am not insane like the other millions who are waiting at shops and buying it online for that same amount.
I dont buy myself something every day.

What happened to your IS account? They were the be all and end all??
 
I hate RTS games.

However, Blizzard makes awesome games and can't wait for Diablo3 and WoW Cataclysm. Those I'll be at the launch for, but Starcraft..... erm, no :p
 
I predownloaded mine from Blizzard so when I got home in the wee hours of the morning it was simple "load license key and play" worked like a charm. Thank you mweb for my 4mb uncapped :D
 
Pc games are getting expensive. makes console game look cheap
