Starcraft 2

well just received my copy from Take2.

man I am itching to try it out. (although I suck at SC1 and most RTS games, although I prefer playing them)

Played a few missions last night, really impressed.. even though there seems to be compatibility issues with my oddball 320mb 8800. Not getting the framerate i`m supposed to get.

What I love most about this game is that they didn`t fix what was not broken. erm... except for lan of course.
 
Hi Guys

I bought my copy of SC2 at CNA for R529 :o but it comes with 3gb bandwidth from their Edgars ISP. Any ideas on how good this is?

Why can I not play the versus ai matches in single player. is it because I am not connected to the net?

PS. This game is amazing. :D
 
You're right, one of the requirements for this game is that you have to have an internet connection. You need to create your b.net account first...
 
i connected my pc to the net via ICS and then created the b.net account. I did the whole update and patching and then went into offline mode and now when I go to play versus ai, nothing appears. I cannot belieave you need to be connected to the net to play bots. That would seriously be BS.
 
So started playing last night online. Got my ass handed to me a few times. Played mainly 3v3 and ended up as the last guy on our team as the others rage quit and i have to defend against 3 teams on my lonesome. So far impressed by the game but my only gripe atm is that if someone minimizes or disconnects the game pauses and give that player 60 seconds, now generally that is fine we all wont have a problem but if it happens 3 times in a row then it gets a bit irritating.

Hehe, just come play with us then boet, I havent played SC in years so for me it hard playing even against the medium bots lol. Got our butts handed to us last night :D

Was just about to tell him to ask you and gankster how our first 3vs3 match went against the medium bots................ massacre I tell you!!! :D

I also thought it was pretty amazing that it said there were over 1 000 000 players online.

Haha! It was a complete fail..I was just building my first marine and then all of a sudden they have a whole screen full of units owning my base :(

Yeah dude, this game has some solid followers. It was the bees knees back in the days of SC 1.
