3 years after The Elder Scrolls 6 was announced, Todd Howard is thinking about making it
Howard said fans should still think of the new Elder Scrolls game as being in the "design" phase.

There's no way that they can handcraft 1000 planets. It will be procedurally generated with probably some base values. Then AI fills in the rest with some quests/events. That's the best you can hope for.

Mass Effect ended with ME3. (ME2 for some as it was the pinnacle of the franchise).
ME2 ranks as one of the best games ever made for me. I'll put The Witcher 3 up there with it. Not sure what else.
Yep.
I'm sure most of the main, storyline planets will have hand-crafter locales, but the rest will likely fit a type - ice giant, gas giant, goldilocks - with AI generating points of interest, life, minerals etc.

Was waiting for one of the creatures to clip through the map or one of the bodies to ragdoll through the wall or something, when watching the trailer.
