Here is something funny. Last night we went to the veg patch with a torch and found the freaking culprits!!!! Little bugger green worms found their graves!!Anybody know of a good book or website advising on pests and diseases in the Garden.
I always struggle identifying pests. I have mostly mint thyme rosemary lavender tomatoes chillies roses. And a curry tree plant.
Yes, the rocket is a very thirsty plant, I also have them growing. They readily tell you they need watering. Mine is growing in full sunlight, no problems. Like I said, lots of water.
Then I can feel less guilty for stressing.
This heat keeps wilting the rocket. So now I moved the pot to full shade. Will see if that helps. Maybe it will do a bit better once its stronger/bigger.
Awe, so nice your babies growing!!! How did you manage to upload pics? I would also like to show off my greenlings on my rooftop.Broccoli(3) and cucumber(2) babies.
Planted them into bigger sized small pots this afternoon. Will give them a week or so and will then plant them out. Brococoli into bit pots and cucumber directly into the garden. View attachment 578324

My new harvest of habaneros and bullets. Preparing to make a delicous chilli sauce.
No idea, my ex use to grow spinach. It grew like a weed, just wouldn't stop growing and we ate spinach every single week for free. Would be interesting to know if it has a certain life span.Does anyone have spinach experience? I have about 4 plants which used to grow like mad, they seem to have slowed down now - gardener says pull them out - they're "tired" - what's the story?

thank you - although mine hasn't sent up the flower stalks - will pick the leaves that are left and see what happenshttps://bonnieplants.com/how-to-grow/growing-spinach/
From that site it seems like its end is approaching.
They say pick and eat what's left.
Nice! Lucky you when did you plant up have chillis already?
I planted in September and my green peppers have been harvested. I've noticed they very easy to grow. Had a bit of a problem with the frigging green worms!! They ate all my broccoli and cauliflower.Nice! Lucky you when did you plant up have chillis already?
