Oh its some kale,mixed lettuce and spring onions (if I remember correctly).

Ok the Kale was a success in that it grew and ate some. Problem was it got contaminated by grey bugs/eggs (maybe cabbage aphids). So I probably got some extra protein without realising it at the time
What is the best way to stop this from happening again? Don't want to use heavy pesticides... kinda beats the point for a home garden in a way for me. Also what other vegetables do you think I should try? I have some peppers (Typical green/red peppers) growing currently and the stuffed up kale.
