For an oil service, what does it matter if it's a 6 cylinder engine?

They charge about 50% more over the 4 cylinder ones... Which kinda makes sense, as far as I know it takes 6.5 liters of oil vs 4.5 or so for the 2.0 engines

Nissan once wanted R11k to replace my brake pads. This was back in 2013. I did some research and ordered my own high performance brakes for R2000 and got SupaQuick to fit them for R700. So cost me R2700.

doesnt matter if its a cheap brand, or an expensive brand they will say anything to get their commisions.

Reminds me of the time I had the gearbox oil on my X-Type replaced at the dealership. They invoiced me for 6L of ATF... for my manual gearbox that has a 2L capacity.

I think there could be a reasonable explanation for that, they use oil to flush out the old gearbox oil.

No, absolutely not. They charged me for automatic transmission fluid, for a manual car. And nowhere in the official workshop manual does it state that they should do a flush.

Just a pity the Bosch blades only last about a year, possibly two winters if you replace at the beginning of winter.

Also, I'm yet to source a aftermarket 26"blade that properly cleans a Honda CRV mk IV windscreen just above rest position for the first 4 inches.

Looks like a very bad design for that plate to be touching the flywheel.
