Steam VS WBS

This is great. I just found this out while getting hold of the HL2 : Lost Coast demo on steam.

I'm currently throttled to 8Kbyte/sec, so I'm capped. Yet steam doesn't seem to give a stuff about the WBS throttling system.

Not quite 8Kbyte/sec is it.
Everything else is throttled, and I'm not doing anything dodgy.

interesting... I've also had such loopholes before unfortuantely it didn't last very long...

but somehow I'm seriously not impressed... I'm had 1gig of bw to spare since yesterday but I can't download jack thanks WBS!

tell me about it... i had to purchase an additional 1gb on the 25th, do you think that would be carried over to the next month... noooo

Crash, i noticed very high speeds on the last 2 days of the month. In the region of 100kB/s, and that is being 13GB over cap... must have been a problem with their BW manager.
