still having problems with i7 processor

I had the same problem with my i7 Macbook Pro. I gave up and got a Vodacom data bundle for my old E220 modem. After installing the Huawei E220 drivers my Cell C speed stick worked fine using the E220 drivers!

Crap, had access to one at a client today. Would have tried it on my i7 laptop if I knew this was an issue. But I must add, sometimes odd solutions work for these issues. For example, I have a lot of e220's at clients, and a few of them have gotten new Windows 7 laptops. Not been able to flash 1 e220 to work on windows 7, but I found out that installing my k3565 on their laptops first and then putting in the e220 somehow allows the e220 to install. Now to find the trick for the cell c dongles. Which speed stick do you have? The 7.2 or 21? Got a pal with a 21...Wait, I did try his speed stick. Worked like crap, but I live in a low coverage area. But it worked. i7 laptop, 64bit Windows 7 Pro.

i thought that the i7 issue was just related to a digital sig not a driver prob? i haven't had this issue. tested i3 i5 i7 and 775 (i5 and i7 are not sandybridge though)
