Stoopid Question

HP Media Smart TV... anyone heard of this before? I cant Google at the moment, I keep getting a reminder to update this software, I've always just ignored it. Simply because I was under the impression I didn't actually have this software on my pc. It now turns out I might do.

I'm assuming here it's some kind of software that allows me to watch telly on my machine? Am I right? If so bonus! If not wtf is it?

i uninstalled it..its the software for the tv tuner,which on mine it never had anyhow

Thanks Tun@ I thought it might need a tuner card which I know I haven't got. Bundled software FTL!
