So mybroadband decided to delete my last thread. Don't know why.

Anyway I bought an XF rx 560D from Wootware last year but been having some issues with it. first off we have CCTV software (hikvision), Media playback and browsing then net playing youtube videos etc. The pc I'm using is the following specs

i7-6700k
MSI z170 gaming pro carbon
2x 8GB ddr4 2400mhz RAM
1x SSD samsung 750 evo
1x WD blue 1TB HDD
FSP 600w 80+ gold PSU
XFX RX 560D
Windows 10 (latest updates as of august)
2x 1080p (1x DVI, 1x HDMI)

Now I've been having this issue where sometimes the display will quickly flicker black, media player will crash (media player classic with custom settings), Games will also crash sometimes especially when I set my power limiter on max in msi afterburner and also my browser can sometimes have black corruption on pages for example when I load a youtube video the video will freeze for a split second but there will be black around the page. Very difficult for me to explain. It's not like black boxes around the page it's like the whole page goes black but I can still see the youtube video. Also the other day I had this issue where I had my browser and media player open then when I opened the Whatsapp desktop app my whole display went black and then when it came back only 1 monitor was working then I decided to restart the whatsapp desktop app and again black screen but this time my screens didn't came back.

Also another issue is for example having my power limiter on max shouldn't be an issue but when I do that and play the new wolfenstein II it will crash after a while but when I have my power limiter on default it will not crash but the gpu clocks will be not be a stable 1194mhz. I've even installed this in a olde pc, i3-2100, MSI z68ma-ed55 but then when I install the driver just before it detects the card the whole pc will freeze

So i decided to check maybe the memory clocks on the gpu is unstable. Tried to underclock thememory by a tiny bit of let's say 10mhz bang my memory clock is stuck on 300mhz even under load it's stuck on 300mhz while the gpu clocks will still go higher. Strange thing that i noticed is as soosn as I lower my memory clock anything below default and hit apply it will quickly flicker once and then when I use my browser it will give me craphics corruptions etc.

I've been in contact with wootware about this and have send the gpu in for testing and they claim nothing wrong. The testing they've done is metro last light benchmark and lowering the gpu clocks and they said it works 100% but I don't think they've fully tested it and said nothing is wrong with the card. I will test it in another system, 3770 based pc with a MSI b75 gaming board.

So what do you guys think should I do next to test the card? oh an one more thing is I tested furmark for 20 min no crashes and that I find strange. I think it's when it changes clock speeds so much then it crashes or give graphics corruptions. sorry for teh long thread

Sounds like a driver issue, also have you monitored the temperatures?

I tried many differnet drivers. Every time amd releases a driver i install. I even run "display driver uninstaller" before updating drivers. I Even set my fan sped to 100% to see if temps is the issue and it's not going above 60C at least.

This has been long time ago but I also had a 980ti from my main pc installed and it worked 100% but that was a long time ago so maybe the pci-e slot might be faulty but getting the card back today so I can install it in the 3770 based pc for further testing.

I often get the same results with the rx460, I get it less frequent with an older driver that shipped with the GPU. The RX 460 and 560 pretty my the same GPU with the exception of higher clock speed. Just going to have to research and find the most stable version
