Hi there, didn't know how to word it properly. But I've owned my Adam for 3 years now, never had to replace anything until now.
I been getting some weird error messages when I start the car, 'check tyre pressure', then it reports my PSI or whatever from 0-300 and it says its 178, but i checked at tyremart and its 220. Then I try to start the car one day and it says 'Theft Prevention System Requires Service'
Weird, car will boot up, lights work, radio works, touch screen works, dials work, just won't start, almost like a limp mode. Google it and it says 'try your spare key'
I do this and it works, how strange. It works for a week and then after that neither key works. I check the battery (or well, I pay someone to, I have the technical knowledge of a 2 year old) and its the OG battery from 2016. So it was never replaced and lasted 7 years. Sadly it is an AGM battery and those are expensive nowadays. So I got it replaced and retuned to the ECU or whatever idfk im just quoting what the guys said.
Anywyays, so if anyone has an adam, and it says that - its likely your battery.
But overall pretty happy with the car, and the fact that this is the first thing that's ever gone wrong with it.
I am however dreading the replacement of the brakes and tyres as the previous owner had it done in 2020 and it was a bill of 10k for the brakes only.
