Streaming music: Phone -> PC

How the heck?

Windows 8.1 64bit on Acer S7 392
Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I can pair my device, then after a split second it disconnects. I can still send files to and fro.
Tried to play music via bluetooth to the laptop...I don't know anymore.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just download XBMC and XBMC remote, use WiFi, problem solved

I really don't want an app for this. I want it to be handled natively. Like any other device.

I haven't tried another device yet but my phone does everything I need it to on my work pc.
