I bought an antenna today, set it up, digital tv, works great, who knew... Came 15h00, sabc 2 advertised RWC but nothing, just another non RWC game played, no SA vs ROM...???

So basically anything SABC was a schit show?

On terrestrial digital they have it on the SABC News channel, not SABC 2.

Did anyone confirm what the buzz is with DStv's SABC News?

The rugby is broadcast on SABC news channel on digital terrestrial

SABC are doing a rap-up of the game at the moment and that much isn't on their news channel on DStv.
But shouldn't matter with SABC 2 also available.

SABC didn’t work for me. Viprow.net also. Itv wanted me to download the app. In the end I gave up.

Been a busy day, Church, Cricket, Rugby, now Arsenal vs Everton. Been good.

Tried SABC+ and that was not working so had to move to Edinburgh to watch it on STV,

Just use Greece.

Start the stream and once you are streaming disconnect the vpn to get the stream direct from Akamai locally so it doesn't buffer. Works for every game for me.

Also depends on the VPN, some effort to identify the IP addresses involved will be constantly underway.

Yes. So far urban vpn free and urban vpn browser extension also works. Flip it on load stream switch it off and the source changes to SA which is ideal to avoiding slow vpn streaming.

Can anyone confirm or deny that if I take the R29 Easy View package on DStv, I can watch the Bok games via the SABC News channel?

I have a regular account with DSTV and am not paying anything. I have access to the free channels from covid days. The R29 on will get you sabc.

Akamai redirects immediately once you dc the vpn or proxy that is what makes it pretty decent.

If you use EDGE or Chrome you can cast it to a tv.

NordVPN + Greece works for me when the regional broadcaster here screws up the English commentary or broadcast in general.
