stuck in a rut

i also don't have friends with whom i socialise with and i don't have an issue with that. i was also worried about my first MyBB get together here in cape town as i new that most of the guys actually knew each other already and that there would be drinking involved and as a non drinker i was a bit scared to go along. but even from the side lines my wife and i enjoyed ourselves by just watching the guys interacting with each other, we also met some cool people that day and even if we only talk online i would say they are my friends.

there are also other guys and girls on this forum whom i consider internet friends.

Are internet friends the same as single serving friends? :p

Dude. Isn't it against MyBB regulations to have more than 1 profile?
Anyways. Just go to a rock gig at a pub and pick up a chick. They are really easy there. And not always drunk may I add.

If you refuse to hang out with people who:

1) Drink
2) Smoke
3) Have religion

Then you've basically cut out 99% of the population right there.

a friend of mine Jacques refused all 3 of those things but never avoided them or the people around him. It's their choice.

So perhaps your attitude regarding this is what keeps other people from inviting you with when they do go out.

Also, don't SMS. SMS is lame. )

I don't drink, but still hang out with people who do, cause I like their company.

and if a guy smsed me to ask me out for coffee? I won't even BOTHER to reply (wtf? Try a movie or an evening out in a fancy restaurant, coffee is something which girls do with girls, we gossip and invite our gay friends and spend hours chatting about nonsense)

Phoning is so MUCH more intimidating and makes it SO much harder for us girls to say no to a guy.

fancy restaurant = coffee :erm:

and uhm a movie is REALLY stupid, unless of course you are trying to feel someone up.

1. Taking someone to a FANCY restaurant for only coffee, indicates your probably broke but still trying to impress her...not cool.

2. Isn't the IDEA to feel her up? :D

1.yeah but i don't goto a coffee shop to drink coffee or put it this way if i goto a coffee shop its usually cause their food is nice, maybe i'm cheap but i prefer a coffee shop to a fancy restaurant especially in the day.

2. uhm nope,

Yes, you're cheap :D

Mug and Bean ftw!! (mind you they do have nice food)

Just become friendlier to everyone you meet from now on. For example, adopt a more diplomatic approach when telling someone off as opposed t swearing their moms and stuff.

PS: there's nothing wrong with being non-religious and going to church to find a bonk. AFAIK there's no rule against it if nobody finds out :)

get a mate or two thats single and go to a club. have a few beers and try to enjoy yourself - girls will notice if you're having fun and see you as a "fun guy" and not the boring person you really are. tip the barmen well.

put a sock in your pants

exchange those R100/R50 for loads of 20's and 10's - put them all in your wallet. note: do have a few R100/R200 notes and ONLY use them when paying for drinks - keep wallet visible (like half open) in front of other ladies.

do not buy them drinks.

...something is bound to happen to you soon.... otherwise start making conversation.

but the keyword hereis "clubs" - you can't go wrong with hundreds of chicks at one place - especially if a lot of them are drunk.

good luck.

desperate girls go for desperate pick up techniques.
If I try this trick then my wallet will be gone the following morning.

Well, my circle of friends has grown considerably since I started riding bike again. There's always someone wanting to go for a ride and along the way you'll meet even more people. Also, there are a lot of bikers who don't drink.

I think the key is to find something you enjoy and start attending events.
