Earlier this year I had a lighty ask me to buy him cough syrup outside a pharmacy, they pharmacist refused to sell to him. I was fortunately well aware of why they didn't want to. Pharmacist says these kids do the rounds during the week, bulk up and get smashed over the weekend.

You should have bought it for him, then filled it up with Colon-Blow or some strong laxative.

Did they think we were in lockdown again and that booze was banned??
Im all for doing stupid stuff as a youngster but at least have some sense about it.

I don't understand fancy medical words.

How many bottles does it take to overdose?

By combining a narcotic like codiene along with the dextro in cough syrup, along with alcohol leads to your nervous sytem slowing down A LOT - making you drowsy, sleepy etc. This causes you to take shallower breaths and literally die from not being able to breathe and can lead to heart attack because of loss of oxygen as well.

It won't take a lot to kill you - perhaps a bottle or 2 at most of the concoction.

Some of the people we look up to today did many stupid things in their youth, but it is an unfortunate incident that should never had happened.

Its not an unfortunate incident.

If people do stupid sht like this then good riddance. At least these mentally deprived individuals wont have off spring to sour the stupidity pool further.

It is a waste of emotions to feel sorry for other people who do idiotic stuff. Like feeling sorry for someone climbing a skyscraper freebasing and then fall to their death. WTF do these people think will or at least might happen.
