Went through the same some lecturers were Afrikaans others English, textbooks all in English. Answered the question paper in whatever language I felt like that day. Read the questions in whatever language felt easier at the time. Look I understand not everyone can speak both languages well enough but don't you know that when choosing where to study? Or should all institutions cater equally well for all 11 languages?I went through that system, and I support these students in their protests. Afrikaans and English students should be separated in the lectures.
