Study/work towards electrician profession

Durban Homosexual Society
It's just an insult kids used to bait the DHS boys but then again it being an all boys school maybe there is more to it...
Oh lol, first time I hear that.

All I know is that Glenwood Boys sucks donkey balls.

I had no matric exemption I was a 30%er at school with math because my teacher at high school was extremely bad at her job.
In the July of my matric year my parents told me I would go to college, so I packed up my books and decided f**k-it. Never opened a book further and didn't give a schitt about HS anymore. I passed with a technical matric, and pretty bad marks, yet the college were OK with it and admitted me directly to N4.

my maths was LG if I recall correctly.
Always someone else’s fault hey, always out to get you.

I dont think so. Where do you get your total?

AFAIK, you do an accreddited course and do your apprenticeship and trade test?

@soulie If I recall you an electrician? Any advice.
Only advice is go become an appy ,go to college (one block a year )try get N6 or whatever it is these days ,do your trade test and get your red seal ,class A ,electrician do not come out of your time and be a useless sparky ,go to college and do your wiremans liscence ,try pass it first time ,not easy to do ,make sure all your modules are done and try register ,maybe 18 months later you get your yellow ticket ,maybe not .some never get it ,once done with IE get a sponsor and do your MIE ,you need so many months in each field, ie hospitals, there are 4 fields that must be passed and yes you must know what all the codes on the back of tankers are because flammable and explosive environment is important ,once passed you are then a Master Installation Electrician and can do any electrical work .most MIE sparkys won't tell you they have it because of the liabilitys involved with the work ,so they fix geysers and plugs and sometimes do a borehole pump ,most myself included won't go near solar installs and certifications as it's a sh1tshow unless you are employed by a big company with good liability insurance ,just my 2 cents .

Another resource:

This is a forum for electricians in SA. Not sure how active they are these days.
Where did you get this site from?

Seems like they created it in 2006 and never updated it. It seems like a purchased template. To be honest, even for 2006 web standards the website looks old and outdated.
