See that toslink port, get the necessary optical cable and plug it into the TVs and the subwoofers

Yeah want the sub as well. But something similar I guess.
 
If it can't be done I understand. THese speakers are from 2011 and just gathering dust. Thought it would be cool to use them instead of buying speakers for the TV if I already have these.

Neither this or the above will work for full 5.1..

Your problem is the input on the speakers requiring coax..

This is what you are looking for:

@Lupus Im a bit confused on the sound option on the Mibox. When I get a soundbar I will want to use the Optical option, this was my ematic

But the Mi box only has this connection:

So how will this work and make use of the Dolby Sound. Just use the Optical on the Hisense TV? Will it recognise the Dolby Sound if the content is played through the Mi box , but the sound is through the TV ?

ARC hdmi :) so you plug the mi box into the TV and hdmi 1 into the sound bar.
If it's only optical then yes optical from tv to sound bar
