Successfully Migrated

Still not upgraded.

I heard that Boosters now expire same month. Is this true? If it's true this really sucks.
Boosters should be carried over, if unused.

Good news about bandwidth boosters:

ADSL and Wireless customers: Unused bandwidth booster data now expires 30 days from date of purchase.

HSDPA customers: Unused bandwidth booster data is now valid for 60 days.

The way I understand it, if you buy 1GB on the 15th, it will be carried over to the following month and expire on the 15th of the following month.

It's easy to use up 1GB of data in one month.

Has anyone here using iburst through mweb successfully migrated yet? Im still on my old package.
Hi Nefertiti,

There has been a slight delay in syncronising MWEB's backend systems (customer UI, billing, support etc.) with iBurst's changes. The new packages & migration of existing packages should be avaliable from Monday onwards.

MWB.

Ok, that's good. I thought it NOW expired on the 1st of the next month.

[email protected] has been most silent and they don't seem to reply to emails anymore. They usually take 48h but >48h and silence is long, even for them :).

So everyone will be upgraded automatically, same as direct iBurst customers?

The boosters will also be cheaper to buy, as per the new packages?

Glad to know. Last year I had to fight to get MWEB to upgrade me from the 3.5GB package to the 5GB one.

Thank you. I'll check it out then

It seems i have got an extra 2gig.
But iburst site says i am still on old package?

Maybe the 3 month trial period they have is in actual fact the time they need to migrate everyone. Still haven't been migrated.

I would agree with you on this.

When iBurst upgraded their billing system, it took awhile for things to settle down.

It's going to be awhile, before everyone gets migrated.

I got my email to say that I've been upgraded....but when loggin in to the iburst website it still reflects the old data :S

I feel pretty sorry for the guys that said, they would just try to trust the iburst website for usage and then be able to buy more cap. All the people I know so far have not been able to either log into the iburst site, get accurate bandwith useage or buy more cap for the past 2-3 months. At this rate iburst is going to be around very long. Seriously, sort out your website. I was finally able to get on the site after trying 10 times... not cool

I've just checked and I've been migrated. I also found the Business usage page easier to access than the Individual user usage page

Thank you for your e-mail.

The account will be amended on our side automatically when Iburst does any changes. Iburst had confirmed that changes will take effect the 1st December '09.

If you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards
