Suggestions? Good case, but not flashy

Hi,

I'm currently looking to get a new PC case. It's been a while since I really dipped into the options available though.

Basically I just want a high quality and user friendly (materials, finish, design, cooling, installation) case. I do not want a flashy case though. No led strips. No transparent side panel. Just a really good looking, durable and good quality square box. Something minimalist with an understated elegance if at all possible.

Any suggestions?

I got a Coolermaster MasterCase 5 about a year ago. Absolutely love it! My only issue with it is that it is kaaaaaaaaaaaak heavy

Yeah true. I should have mentioned I don't mind a slightly more premium price. The main thing was to get away from the obvious LAN box look. I have a very nice Cooler Master at the moment, but it's a bit grabby when it comes to attention. Doesn't fit well in my lounge.

I like the look of the 270R Zoidberg posted, but not so much the IO on the right side of the front.

I really dont like those external drive bay slots. Don't rush, there are some nice stylish minimalist cases out there.

Fractal Design had some really nice looking cases, but seems they are all out of stock in SA.

Yeah they have some really awesome cases

My coolermaster silencio 352 looks really nice as well but it sucks when it comes to cooling unfortunately

Most of the premium case makers these days are putting out understated case designs, because all the rage these days is addressable RGB and tempered glass.

You should have much issue finding what you want.
