Supersport streaming problems? Multichoice says "change your ISP..."

A further update - it seems that the Content (CDN) provider has been experiencing some issues this morning. They are confident that they have found the root cause and are working on resolving it. It does mean that they will drop the streams during lunchtime to enable them to reboot some of the systems. But all should be back up shortly thereafter and be much improved.

If this is not the case, we will let you know.

Really, care that the CDN provider state this in a detailed report? No they won't...

MyBB should actually look into this.

streaming from home on my 4meg uncapped webafrica account also usually works without issues 95% of the time, it does occasionally buffer or die, needing to be reopened but for the most part I dont have any issues with SS streaming at home either

They confirmed issues with their CDN partners and the stream certainly did die when they restarted things around lunch time. It was also dead for many of us for large portions of this morning's play...
 
Looking at all this and I see a couple of hints of capitalism happening :/ our most respectful and uncorrupted government has given Multichoice free rein in its market without the option of competitors, they are just lining their own pockets now... I am Webafrica uncapped and even then streaming youtube and twitch.tv at 720p happens with no intensive buffering(excluding initial buffer).

I did a quick test on streaming the supersport and buffering occurred more then I would've liked... i.e. 15-20s playing 10s buffering the next 15s o.O.... I heard that the exchanges where congested could this be the reason to that? I don't think it would be if international streaming works fine...

EDIT: Also if memory serves me right mweb and multichoice are in cahoots with each other... I'm sorry but I'm a gamer and mweb doesn't supply the stability that is required to play, and I'm not prepared to get a secondary account just to stream from multichoice...

4Mbps AH Home uncapped - No buffering
No problems apart from the BB running behind on score board.
 
You should consider changing your ISP as it seems like your the only one who's constantly experiencing this problem, 95% of the complaints on this thread are yours

Firstly a professional company should learn to spell when replying to their customers.

95% of complaints from one person - so why did he have to post so many complaints before there was any response ?

Streaming using the iOS app but I can't see the ball even. Bad quality even in this little screen. Monochoice sux donkeys ballz
