Supersport streaming problems? Multichoice says "change your ISP..."

Should Mweb have a service level agreement with Level3 then these issues should be non-existent, they must have a SLA. I’m still saying that it is Mweb’s hosting (and policies, securities etc.) environment where the problem lays. When you complain here with Mweb, you are actually complaining with the Mweb ISP who will shrug at everything being thrown at them. It is the Mweb Group and Multichoice which should provide the answers, and Optinet which must respond on their Level3 stance (and details on the SLA, yes this is non-disclosure) as that is where the problem lays according to them.

Derek Hershew can also only answer as per his CEO stature at Mweb ISP... not the group.

Don't they have enough capacity to stream in HD? Someone should tell them the tech exists. They should use it. If they offer a service it should be upto the user to choose the quality. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1393093670.713472.jpg

I've noticed that streaming sucks so badly on my Internet solutions isp... Why is that? They are a major network backbone/provider?

The alternative cricket streams I use, use about 50kB/sec. This is on my line that is capable of 1050kB/sec

At one point I had six different streams open on various sport events but still supersport refused to stream realiably.

Wtf is up with that?

Super sport is kark?

All my decoders and lounge TV were fried by lightning last week, so I've relied totally on streaming from Supersport. Lots of interruptions with Afrihost. Flawless with Telkom.

The only issue is that every time I log in I have to re-link the smartcards. Weird.

Weird!

You're being too kind - it's a fckup - support guy told me they had a release that introduced a "few bugs"

Hehe. The back-end admin / authorisation system seems to have wrinkles that need ironing out. But for me at least the streaming has been fine once I switched the DSL to the Telkom account.
