Surtie Inheritance Scam

but I maintain that I am keeping an eye on these proceedings to see whether the estate that filed the claim is successful.
This is the only reason why I’m following this matter at all. My interest can almost be described as an intellectual investment of sorts.

And loadshedding would be my primary reason for having the time and tendency to contribute in this thread…

Academically interesting and a minor nugget of truth, added some fantastical claims that take it stratospheric, and a scam bolted on top

We haven't had something like this in a while, so here goes:

Wouldn't it be funny if a settlement agreement is actually reached?

would of course be quite a massive thing and most likely be covered in the media ...somewhere on earth

Because a cause of action exists, none of the exceptions should have been upheld. A pleading is only excipiable on the basis that no possible evidence led on the pleading can disclose a cause of action.
This article was sent to me by a friend of mine also following this matter with interest. It seems that the acting judge who upheld the exceptions has a history of mixing up legal concepts. I wonder how many other cases she's incorrectly ruled on...

I want to add that I've known this guy for at least 20 years. Probably a bit longer, since I vaguely remember partying with him when I was doing my Honours. So this makes him one of the few people I trust.

He seemingly has a lot more information regarding this case than any other person commenting on this thread, but is unwilling to share most of it. The little he has been willing to share though, has shed a lot more light on the case than the cumulative sum of what I've seen in this thread
