No Problem, I am forwarding all these emails to the network and radio team so we can get the problem sorted out ASAP

I hope this gets sorted out!!! Not fun having cybersex and disconnected all the time :P

I sent email to Dylan with the details, if this gets sorted out I will consider not cancelling my contract, otherwise I am out of this crap.

well on my server you have to mess with SSH or https to control stuff and i've been logged into both for 12 hours with no problems, gmail worked too, msn hasnt dropped, same with icq and aim, irc, so i'm 100% at this point

lol dude don't be liek that, 2 days ago I too had problems with SSH and SFTP as well as HTTPS (yes yes the great slim had problems)

Since the speedlessness problem has still not been resolved by WBS, I think it might be a good idea to make this survey the April 2005 Speedlessness survey, and start a new survey in May, comments?
Good idea. My experience is changing by the week.

Blame the so called 'abusers'!

I wonder who WBS will be blaming for this

I predict that users who have a stable & usable connection (even though throttled) will be blamed and suspended. Especially if you're on the abusers list

You're lucky getting these speeds.

Brief desc of problem .:. iburst is the problem. slow

I have made it a habit - I email Shaun Green, CC: helpdesk every day for the past 2 weeks. I left messages for Shaun Green at helpdesk and still waiting to receive a call back or email.

That's a good idea, though I don't see WBS actually responding to any of the feedback in here.

Hi Seburn,

I am usually fast asleep at 2 am :-) I use iBurst mainly during the day when I work from home (which is twice a week), on weekends and between 18 - 23 hrs in the evenings. I will check late night tonight how is the speed. By the way, Telkom test is always better as it shows the local speeds. I am more interested in the international traffic. I am a foreigner in SA and I mainly browse news and information in my language.

Another thing, Helpdesk people tell me that I am on the Northcliff tower. How come you are also in Linden Ext. and you are on the Roodepoort one? Is there a way for me to check?

The helpdesk told me i connect to roodepoort
They also said they will be implementing a way to check online.

My signal is 92-100% my frame error is 0-5%

you see this i don't understand early morning/late at night

Download time: 5.953 seconds
Size of file: 500 KiloBytes
Estimated line speed: 685.4 (kilobits/second)
Estimated line speed: 84 (kiloBytes/second)
