suspicious behaviour or over reacting?

She's lying about something.
It might be her lover, it might be a birthday surprise she is planning for you.

She was not open about who it was and I would demand an explanation from her. Trust goes hand in hand with being open. However if my wife where to tell me its nothing I would believe her.
 
im confused, but okay, you should have said that in the beginning, but anyway, ja, your husband has a very guilty conscious, normally when someone acts like this they have something to hide themselves

The caller hung up when she was about to answer, its a number thats not even in her phone book.

The other person hang up. By some miracle, did the other person know that she was with her husband? How does a caller hanging up equate to lying/cheating? Just trying to understand...

I just wanted to be as objective as possible.
 
Overreacting is a sure way of getting your wife to run away from you.

Now :

Do you tell your wife that you love her on a regular basis?
Do you tell your wife that she's good-looking and sexy on a regular basis?
Do you bring her little "surprises" (flowers, perfume, etc) to surprise her?
Do you help out in the house with cleaning dishes, clothes etc?

I let my wife be when she answers a call or SMS, and doesn't want to tell me from who it is/was or what it was about. It's her decision. It might be something she's planning for me, or else it just doesn't concern me at all. I don't stress about that.
 
if the husband does the ranting and raving and accusing it's him that's having the affair end of story. now he wants to accuse the wife of doing the same thing.

*nod* Possessiveness in a relationship, lack of trust and infidelity, you'd have to be absolutely mad to stay with someone like that. I can understand that you must love him, Chief Whip, but you have to see that there is no future? When it crosses that line there is no going back. It's a continual downward spiral and, I can assure you, there are plenty of fish in the sea, many who are much more deserving of the word commitment.
 
Husband is paranoid and I don't understand how you forgave him after he cheated on you.

The relationship is doomed to fail after one spouse has cheated. There will always be a trust issue and can't see a relationship working without trust.

Your wife is most definitely banging this other oke, i would be really worried. Hire a private detective to follow her. I reckon it is probably your best friend calling from that number. I would confront them all...
