suspicious behaviour or over reacting?

1. Do you think the wife is cheating based on her actions/response during the whole drama?
2. Do you feel justified to go through her call records & call people that you dont even know?
3. What would you (the husband) do in a situation like this?

1. Yes
2. Not something I would've done.
3. Nothing I guess, but it would make me doubt any excuses like "working late" or "shopping with friends" etc.

Luckily I trust my wife completely. :)

reading is a skill... I suggest you get started before its too late...
I think what Mila is trying to say is that both the husband and wife seem too young to be married in the first place. Right Mila?

Meh, I dont think age has much to do with insecurity. I've heard of men in their 30's and even older who are still controlling and paranoid like that.

twist to the story, husband is projecting, HE is in fact cheating on YOU

I was just being polite. I was trying to say: Maturity.

If I was you I would have given him a good kick in the nuts.
I think he has majorly over reacted on this one.

Thanks for your responses guys. I will see how to go about sorting out this mess.

The cheating part? When I found out we broke up for a year, then reconciled. But clearly there is still alot of issues to sort out or just walk away? Only time will tell.

Update:, the *unknown number* who called turned out to be some Nigerian guy who had the wrong number.
He called again today to ask why I am stalking him (all those calls last night that husby was making from my phone) :D

Tell the dude your hubby is looking for a new mistress.... :D

edited to eliminate confusion: I am the wife
Sounds like the husband needs to end the meth binge and get some sleep.

Why not just edit it to:

2. Do you feel justified to go through my call records & call people that you dont even know?

The husband's actions are infantile and inexcusable. Drop him and make him someone else's problem.

The question is, have you been unfaithful? You go on describing the situation in 3rd person, but you fail to state, that you either have, or have not been unfaithful...
So I am asking you directly... have you been unfaithful?
You actions, knowing full well that your husband is distrusting and suspicious, is although not wrong, still adding fuel to the fire... you have a choice...
Either you leave him and wont have to put up with it, or accept him and his insecurities and reassure him by being totally open and honest...

... reassure him by being totally open and honest...

I disagree. It's possible to reach a point in a relationship where things become so screwed up, that no matter how open and honest each party is, the other may still be suspicious. I'm not saying it's right for the person to remain suspicious, and I'm not saying OP's relationship is there. I'm just saying that it is possible for a relationship to get to such a state.

My personal experience is that relationships cannot survive a cheating episode.

No matter how strong the motivation, or how hard you try, a breach of trust in an important relationship can never be completely healed.

And the consequent distrust destroys any attempt to continue with the relationship.

YMMV !

I like how some of you is saying this.
She reacted just as badly. Sounds like she was trying to get a reaction, now she has it and does not like it.

Bring your hubby. Lets hear his side of the story.

Always two sides of a story.
