Suzuki S-Presso

Looks nice in marketing material, absolute **** box in real life, can see and feel how cheaply made it is, in seriousness a 10 year old picantos finish is far far superior to it.

All the marketing & influencers postings punt the funky looks & the infotainment system with AA & CP. Now they can punt the ESP (this is a good thing though).

Yes referring to the models after 2010, not talking about shape, talking about build quality and finish. Point is these cars build quality is terribad, poor finish and flimsy.

I think we can both agree those pews don’t look all too comfy!

Also side support, talk to me.

The seats weren't terrible when I sat on them, but they for sure wouldn't hold up very long, foam will compress and stay and the material will tear. Probably the worst is the dash and door panels though.

It's quite narrow despite looking spacious, the whole car is super to tiny, side support is the door and your passenger xD

The ones after 2010 had really good build quality :-) if you said it was worse then say a 2005 Spark or 2005 Picanto sure :-)

yeah they are quite good, very good for a basic entry level car which i feel like this should be on par with, and it just isn't by far

True but you've also got to look at the market if this was ten years ago this car would be under R100k

The fuel economy is the only real positive though...
Which to be fair would hardly be reached, I mean I have a 900cc turboed Clio and I sit at 7 to 8l per 100km as City Driving doesn't get it anywhere near the advertised 5.5, even my wife's Triber sits at 6.5 as City driving and you sometimes need to push a little motor.

Ya, but the advertised rate is 3.7 or something ridiculous. So if you get 5.5 on town driving then that is great.

Its a nice car for an Uber or MrD. I wish they hadn't made them so ugly though... I think the Ignis looks 1 million time better and they should have given it the amazing economy.

Would require smaller engine probably?

Most likely... I just think its odd that we are not allowed a decent looking car with good economy.
Its the same problem with hybrid and electiric... they all look stupid, its taken forever but the Corolla hybrid is the first to break that mold (with midrange cars)
