Hi guys. So I need a new pc as mine broke and now I want to swap my xbox 360 arcade with 3 games wireless controller for a secondhand pc. I have 1 offer.
Here's the specs: AMD AM2 X2 2.2ghz cpu,Deep cool cpu cooler. Msi k9agm3 motherboard,5.1 sound, hdmi ect 4gigs DDR2 800mhz kingston ram 2 coolermaster warm cathode sets 1 coolermaster 120mm cool blue case fan Custom red achilles gaming case(1 of a kind) 320gb harddrive Dvd writer Internal card reader Windows 7 ultimate 64bit Genius lazer mouse Genius usb game pad.
Is this a good deal or should I just save up my money and buy a new computer? Any help will be appreciated.thanx

Graphics Card? Either way, seems like a worthwhile trade. Though I'm not a huge fan of
"One of a kind" "Custom" PC's. They've usually been heavily overclocked, so test the PC
Damn well if you decide to go for it.

Okay so I decided to keep xbox and put money away for new pc. Will just have to go without all my tv series for a couple of months. Oh Breaking bad , Dexter , I will miss you.

The XBox 360 supports FAT32 partitions on USB hard drives, not NTFS. HFS+ is supported but I haven't tested it yet. You can format a drive to HFS+ using a Mac or tools that support HFS+ on Windows 7. This will allow file sizes greater than 4gb on an external drive. FAT32 does not support file sizes greater than 4gb.

Can xbox play .mkv files? All my series are .mkv

No. You will have to change the container.

Is your xbox stock or modded? If you have jtag/reset glitch it will allow homebrew and you can use FFPlay for 720p mkv stuf, 1080p is currently unstable. See google.

That's one of the main reasons I'm going to get rid of my XBox, soon. I hate fighting with codecs.

Not really...

He says he has decided to keep the xbox and save up for a new PC.
It is then asked if the xbox plays mkv.

My response seems to be pretty valid.

Erm see post #10.

You need to work on your comprehension skills :p

No dude. I think I am following just fine.

I answered to the question in post 10 and based on the fact that he is going to buy a new PC and keep the XBox.

In the context of this thread,

1. he does not have a PC.
2. he is keeping his xbox but can't watch his mkv content
3. it will be some time before he gets a new pc.

Right here, right now he only has an xbox and wants to watch his mkv content, that is the gist of the problem.

He could watch his mkv content on his old pc and will be able to do so in the future on the new pc which negates any need to stream it to his xbox. I'm sure everyone here knows you can get content from your pc streamed to your console which is kinda a moot point.

You clearly have nothing better to do with your time.
I gave info. Use it or not.
