Switch 2 thread

Cowards! All of you! New Nintendo hardware was revealed... and no one posted it...?

Alarmo :: Review

We've managed to bag ourselves one, so if you're wondering whether this curious new device is worth the whopping $99.99 / £89.99 / €99.99 asking price, then you've come to the right place.
You can buy (rips out Calculato) 7 Alarmos for the price on 1 (one) PS5-Pro. This thing will be R4000.00 in ZA.

Guess we gonna have to wait a tad longer.

. According to these details, the console did not enter mass production in August 2024, as previously rumored.
......
However, it’s possible that the console won’t hit store shelves until the holiday season of 2025, depending on when the system is formally announced.

This is hardly a solid rumor, let’s see if any insiders confirm the delay first

With the Yen crash in July/August it totally could be true.

Paying more for parts than expected can pause mass production, esp if they had a target selling price in mind.

I'm itching to know which games are coming to Switch 2.
We've become quite fussy lately. I want another Zelda BOTW/TOTK style game...
I want a new Animal Crossing
Another Pikmin will do too

The rest they can decide LOL.
I want
Metroid Prime 2-4
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Maybe add a Super Mario Galaxy 3

Small steps heading for the megaton announcement and reveal of Switch 2. Hopefully BC games will come with benefits like faster loading and better performance... Good to also have confirmed the NSO availability.

Maybe Switch can become a platform like the PC with BC baked-in way into the future and leave behind this build-up break-down cycle of console generations.

Yoh... This thing is gonna be big. Very beeg.

Unless tables will be upended, very un-Nintendo like. Where's the surprise...? I want the next big thing... Gimmick or not. My initial feelings were just for a better and faster Switch2... not now! The handheld market is turning into a red ocean. Sony, MS, Valve...

Dissapointed in the Joy-Cons. Still look uncomfortable as the OG ones. The tapered design is a big plus though. Should help with cramps.

No more second and third pillars. This is it Nintendo. Furukawa's first generational transition. Let's go.
