Between 17 - 18k depending on the bundle I rekon.

Highly doubt that, 18K matches PS5 Pro pricing (internationally marked at $700) placing it above the PS5/Series X and that for a far lower spec'ed device.

There was a different web site from EU that had a placeholder of ~$500 USD, so I wouldn't read too much into it. Not long before we will know the price.

The irony is that Microsoft was planning to do this with the Xbox One at launch and everyone lost their minds because they weren’t ready for an internet-first console world.

Way ahead of their time.

But a good move in preparation for the Switch 2 where a lot of families will likely keep the Switch 1 around.
