Switch 2 pre-orders are open in SA. R12,499 for the standard console and R13,499 for the Mario Kart World bundle. New Joy-Cons will cost you R2299, games are anywhere between R999 and R1999 (cries) -

So my thought process was that R12 000 was my max I was willing to spend.

The Mario Kart World Bundle makes it palatable. At least that is the mental gymnatics I am using to justify the purchase.

I’m flabbergasted, it’s just going to be money money money for upgrades and subs and extras.

I’ll wait a few months for the dust to settle.

I'll buy the Switch 2 for the Mrs as it was part of the deal for me getting a new PS5. But at those prices, I won't even look at the games.
I won't stop her from buying anything if she wishes, but I am out.

The BotW and TotK price for the Switch 2 is still worth it in my opinion. The games are both masterpieces with an incredible number of hours with them

So they say, maybe a little more prettier on the screen but under the hood yeah, same as ps4 pro.

I haven’t seen specs yet, I think it has ddr5 ram, 12 gigs ? I could be wrong
