Meanhile: I am making crap at Core with a link to Takealot's sale price saying I wanna refund or credit.

Difficult to say, but I don't think there is much of a rush for anything Nintendo in South Africa. Okay, it's picked up since the Wii, but I'd imagine they are still way behind PS and XB in the larger gaming publics wants. And of course the price is just going to make it fall further behind.

I would imagine that Nintendo's presence in South Africa is tiny. Go to any gaming store and Nintendo is barely more than a tiny shelf next to rows and rows of Playstation goods.

I'd be surprised if Nintendo's clientbase here is more than 20 000 people. The Wii would have been popular for the same reason it exploded around the world. Beyond that, nobody cares about Nintendo here. I don't know anyone else who has a Switch.

Yep, we're a Nintendo family, me and my 3 kids all have a Switch and my youngest has spread the word among his pals at school, some of whom also have now. But yeah, it's kind of depressing how low down the list it is here, especially the 2nd hand market.

What’s unbelievable is how they keep calling it a game.

Unless they are holding out on there actually being some content that will make it a game I don’t know in what world anyone would pay for this.

Especially compared to the likes of Astro that came with the PS5 as a whole ass game for free.

I have Odyssey and am curious to see how it runs again. Think the visuals in some of the worlds will look really cool. Always thought the Sand and Seaside kingdoms looked best so will be checkin those out again.

Also have Echoes and the only issue I reckon they will fix is the frame rate problem. I already looks quite good
