Picked up a switch OLED in Thailand for R4450.
Switch 2 wasn't available there yet.

Nintendo Switch 2 also outsold the launch of the Switch by more than two to one. The original Nintendo Switch sold over 80,000 units for its UK launch back in the day, though the console was very supply constrained.
Not bad.The list of best-selling console launches in the UK are as follows (handhelds not included):
1. PlayStation 5
2. PlayStation 4
3. Xbox Series
4. Nintendo Switch 2

Your Math is wrong.
Nintendo Switch 2 & Happy Wife vs Asus ROG Ally that will age in the cupboard.
If you're looking for a Portable PC, Xbox Showcase said new ROG's out in August and Xbox Ally in December I think.
I prefer the code.
Game cards/discs on other consoles feel like a relic. My 6 year old cousin would probably look at me weird if I told her to change the game card to swap from Mario Kart to Odyssey, with digital it's super easy on every console to just hit the home button and choose the next game.
Would like the SD Express cards to get faster (internal storage is still quite a bit faster) and cheaper (512Gb for under R2k please) though.

That... that is mega impressive. Bad for the (financially challenged) gamers, good for the shareholders. Seems like $80 games are here to stay...This is the highest global sales level for any Nintendo hardware within the first four days.
And Nintendo selling 3.5million units, isn't that some sort of record?
