Switching from Android to Apple - What made you switch?

The App Library has a bug where the keyboard sometimes doesn't appear. Seems it's a 3 year old bug as well so it's not all sunshine and roses as people in this thread make it out to be.

Android can definitely do with better app design. Not always, but most of the time the same app on iPhoneOS is just so much better and smoother, sometimes even better features only coming to Android much later.

Local apps are the opposite. Android versions are usually just superior.

There are many YouTube videos about this.
App developers have to make an app for 1000's of different Android phone configurations, but for Apple they only need to develop the app for 2 or 3 Apple phones that have mostly similar hardware and screen sizes.

Thats why apps will mostly be better on Apple. Local apps may differ as the Apple market is small in SA and developers concentrate more for Android market.

iStore is just fussier. That's also why so many dodgy apps target android.

Tell me more please. iCloud is the reason (OK, one of the many) I find Apple incredibly useful.

I didn’t switch. I was lucky enough to have started with Apple from the start.

That said I have through the years usually for work had an Android phone I’ve tried and every time my productivity tanked, anxiety went up and I was just constantly irritated.
I don’t know how any human can use them.

On apple everything just works. It works well, I can do whatever I want between devices and I can genuinely say it makes my life better and happier.

You're not making sense. You're saying Apple costs less than Samsung and I've just called you out in that.

Clearly you're not concerned with affordability. Samsung A33 beats an iPhone SE if you don't want a brick phone... In many departments

Long term costs - I keep my phones for many years because they last many years.

And be fair - if the S21/S9s I currently have are any indication an A23 is not a like for like for the iPhone 13 I also have.

Do you actually understand what he said?
Its cheaper to buy a iPhone(even if its more expensive) and keep it for 4+ years than buying a new Android every year or two?
Plus that iPhone you could still get a decent amount for if you sell it secondhand, but the Android nobody wants.
