Syncing speed changing erratically

When i started typing the title to this post , i was synced at about 2200/512 , then i got dc, and now its on 1664/512 , and its been doing this the whole day . after seeing it was at about 600 today i phoned telkom, and got the reply 'i cant help you know i cant get onto the system.." , so has anybody else had this problem?

and now Downstream / Upstream (Kbps) 1344/512 , i was happy at 4096 with out disconnects

Tickles me ****less, when a company that sells "Networking" does not have a reliable internal network. Go Telkom GO!!!

whats youe line stats, may not be good enough to sync anymore, think your noise snr is to low

I had something similar once where my line was "flapping" and caused disconnects and erratic speed differences. Fortunately I got hold of somebody at the Telkom call center that found a problem. They logged a fault on the line and all was sorted 24 hours later.

Unfortunately I don't think you will get anything sorted out with Telkom until Tuesday next week earliest.
