Tablet Bubble Burst?

Just got my windows 10" tablet much better than my laptop weight is the big thing 7Kgs vers 1.5

That I all do on my Desire HD.

Anything else?

Ja sure kingrob. Your Desire's B I G screen does the job just a well as my iPad's tiny 10" screen. You enjoy DSTV on your B I G screen Android device as much as I do on my tiny iPad screen. The games work just as great on your B I G screen as it does on my tiny one.

You clearly have no idea kingrob.

I have a galaxy tab, it goes most places with me now. Great communication and portable multimedia device.

At the low resolution DSTV mobile is broadcast at, yea I think it is better off on a small screen... same with the crappy graphics on those mobile games :p

Don't get me wrong, tablets are awesome. Just not as useful for some of us as for others.

My mate has a galaxy tab and its fantastic for browsing the net and watching series and stuff.:)

I think the author of that article needs to got his facts strait and not out of his thumb.

the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer, which the report says was initially selling well but is now overstocked in some cases

I dont think so, in fact the opposite is happening, ASUS needs to up production as they can not keep up with demand, there is even stock hunt websites to try and track down a unit. See http://www.netbooknews.com/24923/asus-hq-makes-official-statement-on-transformer-tablet-shortage/

I don't think the bubble has burst or is even going to burst. There is a place for tablets and Apple has pretty much proved it with the iPad.
For me, the issue is rather that none of the other manufacturers have shipped a product that makes the average person think twice about buying an iPad. Pretty sure I'll get flamed by some Droid fans for saying that, but this is a tech forum, not an "average Joe" forum... Until Samsung, Motorola, Asus, whoever make THAT tablet, there really isn't a tablet market at all... Only an iPad market.

I think it's just marketing. Everyone goes for the Apple brand.
Android tablets are just as good as the iPads, even better in some ways. They just lost out by being late to the party, and being overpriced at launch. Over time they will get there, just like Android phones did.

DSTV on my larger iPad screen actually looks surprisingly good. The kids often watch Cartoon Channel at full screen setting and it's more than acceptable quality. The iPad can stand vertical in its case so it works well as a mobile TV.

The graphics quality of the iPad native games is very good.

I'm sure Pads will not work for all, but to ask if anyone has figured out what to do with Pads ... well, that's not too smart.
