Android however always equals Android and that's part of their tablet problem.
Android is struggling in the tablet market and has been for years now, to the point the big brands don't even hardly bother anymore and hence you have only these little second-rate brands still pushing the agenda.
Android tablets are garbage...and even Fandroids (the objective ones) will happily agree with the statement that the iPad is better across the board and has been for a long time.

Failure rates IS A MARK OF QUALITY, considering neither one wins, quality is average.Only company with worse failure rates is mickeysoft, with failure within the first two years, and as with apple the hardware is pretty impressive but speed and better performance isn't an indication of quality.

Lets me start the argument. You going to tell me that the 8th gen offers better value over the M40 right? only because it scored 250k+- more on antutu making it about 45% faster then the m40, justifying the 7k price from the actual istore, sure you can get it cheaper, maybe around 5.5 else where, but considering I can buy almost two m40's at the 5.5 price and have more ram and space plus expand my storage. But please explain why you need to pay 2 grand more for the 128gig model of the same tablet, and yes samsung has been doing the same, because the market is willing to bear it. It doesn't actually mean it is better value for money.
The teclast m40 is literally the best bang for buck tablet on the market currently, teclast build quality is second to none.

I bought an AllDocube iPlay20 Pro.Lets me start the argument. Reasonably happy with it - they seem to be updating Android regularly too. Have had it since mid lockdown.
Similar specs to the M40 - 6G / 128G / LTE / HD
I'd rather have my iPad Mini though (stolen). Android sucks in comparison to iOS.

Some people are going to like iOS over android that is a given, no issue with that, I am more interested in what offers the best value for what you pay.
At R7000.00 for the 8th gen wifi model, it is about R218.00 per gig of rom. Teclast m40 at 2.9k is about R22.00 odd per gig of rom. The 8th gen 128 model at 9k is a more respectable R70 per gig.
Both uses DDR4 memory and the same storage tech, why the large price difference. ?

Statistics are just numbers, they don’t tell a whole story which is exactly what is required for an informed opinion.

If they are the same then it’s not even a point worth raising and hence I ignored it.

There is a wealth of other things that make a product of higher quality. The software design and its own reliability, the support by developers, the actual build quality outside of reliability. To interoperability with other hardware and software. The licensing models attached to the device and its ecosystem. The longevity of said ecosystems.
Yea it is. But it’s but a very small piece in a much bigger pie that determines overall quality and this is again where the story and objective opinion makes all the difference.

I’m quite familiar with Louis as I reference him often as I do plenty of repairs.
He can be deeply biased against Apple as half his fight is political and has even said so himself at times.
All things fail, never claimed otherwise.
But all of this is pointless. You’ve already decided that the bottom dollar products win and quality (across the board) is not worth paying for and you’ll rather compromise in other areas in the hopes of saving money.
And yes, over a five year period more often than not Apple products do win out in value. Not always, but often.

FYI I manage 350+ Apple devices and approaching near similar Android numbers and growing rapidly.
I know all of the ups and downs from my own experience and statistics.
I bet you on the other hand have never spent more than an hour with an Apple device or if you did it was many moons ago.

And that is where you would be wrong spent two, three weeks on 32 inch iMac, while house sitting on numerous occasions or 4 times a year when my niece and nephew come visits two, three weeks at a time on their iPads doing there school works and such, So your assumption I would be biased towards apple because I haven't used it or lack time on it is based what an opinion or a guess.
That is why you are a moron, if you going to argue informed opinion is better then statistical analysis. Informed opinion or uniformed opinion is based on ''personal'' belief and has inherent bias, intentional or unintentional.
Statistical analyse of information only allows to draw a conclusion on factual or reliable data and is not subject to opinion while opinions are in part based on statistics or factual data, opinions is still ''personal'' .
In other words, I look at hardware, cost/performance, failure rates, data with regards to usage and overall sales numbers, I don't care much for your personal opinion and ignore it as you haven't actually given any example on factual data why you consider apple better.I already pointed out, statistically with failure rates taken into account in black and white quality wise they are about even and it isn't based on opinion just analysis on the actual data that can't be interpreted any other way as it is pretty straight forward.
Calling Apple superior is just an opinion whether informed or not it is still personal, I don't deal with personal as it is inherently biased.
I pointed out the cost per gig for storage which is factual there isnt much difference on the storage tech used, which factually makes Apple storage costs/storage more expensive, and better value on the android device.
I have used apple devices all my life and therefore, Apple is better because I say so, opinion. is getting annoying neither worth my time nor effort to entertain.
In other words unless you have cold hard facts, keep your opinions to your self, you know what they say about opinions being like a$$holes every one has them, seems like apple has plenty of those......go figure.

You just keep harping on about hardware failure rates which you yourself have said is on par with everyone else, therefore not worth a mention at all.
I take software reliability and the management there of as far more of a serious concern and this is where Apple shines on each and everyone one of their platforms and it cannot be measured in statistics conclusively.
I don’t look at single pieces of evidence or even singular devices. I look at the entire picture end to end across a family of devices and entire ecosystems and how reliable they are as a whole and how easy they are to manage both in an enterprise and personal setting.
Your reliance on statistical data alone is making you blind to the bigger picture.
Beyond that you come across as incredibly twattish even though otherwise seemingly intelligent and not worth conversing with, so this is the end.
