i got that same message from Amazon just before christmas, i was so angry because i never received a call from the courier advising that they needed anything and i provided my id on checkout at Amazon, anyway i sent them an email complaining that i didnt even receive a call - they refunded me and didnt reply. Yesterday i see the shipment is back on its way into the country and i already have an email from DHL requesting my id so seems like i'm getting my parcel after all.

Myabe just email them and say you never receive any contact from the courier company and hopefully they will sort it out.

Yeah they have been cancelling orders a lot, both banggood and gearbest. I suspect shipping here is currently the issue. It depends on the warehouse and the shipper.

Either you will have to wait it out, or order from somewhere else

This is the best you can do for now, you will however be paying customs(R500+-) and the R150.00 disbursement fee once it gets here. This is likely to ship without issue, as it is going to be DHL or aramex, which is different to the normal express or duty free shipping. This is also the better tablet option.

Eina. $174.69 + ~$28.82 Customs + $57.24 shipping = $260.75 + R150 Admin fee = +-R3976.65

Yeah it hurts quite a bit :( But Probably the only shipping method that is going to work right now. I suspect the express and direct mail uses normal cargo on passenger planes and there isn't a whole lot of those flying around currently.

So it is either wait it out, or bite the bullet. All things considered 4k isn't bad for what you are getting, you won't find any thing matching those specs locally. Still having to pay 1.3K odd more is a bitter pill to swallow......

You could go with a cheaper tablet like the P20HD still end up paying 3.3k+- here, but it is has half the performance of the M40. I have no problem paying the extra 1.3k, I won't be happy, but I know the specs of devices locally and pricing and would still consider it a reasonable deal.

I used expedited shipping on my M20 4G, ended up 3k with all costs (had some GB points as well plus I used insurance as well). Got it within 9 days in the end those extra costs were worth it for me.

It is also the cheapest - Teclast sells on amazon.co.uk and the landed costs there is about R4500.

Yeah however I think banggood made a listing price error on the m30pro, the normal m30 is also 3k . Gearbest has it listed for 3k else where around 2.9 and 2.8 ish

I have looked every where this is pretty much the best deal around on the M40.

Thanks rona !
