I'm in a similar boat except i bought mine in Canada, came to R3850. The charger won't charge the brush anymore (less than a year old) and I can't find someone who stocks the charger. Getting one from Canada via import gonna cost but I guess I have no choice..So I need some advice here.
I purchased an electric toothbrush on special just under 2 years ago.
The brush has a 2 year warranty.
The brush stopped working so I sent it back to TAL and chose the option of “repair or replace”.
Without any communication they simply refunded me the purchase price.
Now I cannot replace that model at the seme price 2 years later so this is why I wanted a repair.
When I raised a query I was told that the item is out of stock (of course it’s probably a redundant model).
I know that many suppliers are able to replace a discontinued model with an equivalent current model (mostly just esthetic changes and model number are the case)
However TAL refuse to budge and insist that all they can do is credit my my original purchase price.
How can I take this up further.
stand it on top of a wireless cellphone charger plate for a test it may chargeI'm in a similar boat except i bought mine in Canada, came to R3850. Agree, remember the waiter asking me if I was also going to complain (he did not say this exactly) but implied it. I said loudly, the food was excellent.Bastards
