Huh..?? What did you expect..?? They are a retailer, not a manufacturer.. Manufacturers do quality control..

You should be doing your own research on the quality of products before buying things..

To be honest I shop less on Takealot these days and more on other smaller online retailers. Takealot's service isn't what it used to be - but that's inevitable with any company that grows into a big conglomerate.

Careful now, I suggested a similar thing in another thread and nearly got burned at the stake for being a heathen.
But yeah, Im all for more competition, Takealot service is a far cry from days gone by.

Haven't tried a TV but I have a fridge, 32" monitor and a Macbook... maybe they have a sliding scale on customer "trust" based on $in/$out

Never returned anything prior to that, and I have spent a ****ton of Money on Takealot items in my lifetime. So my $in/$out ratio is very much in favour of Takealot.

Bit of a clickbaity headline for something that's not really even an article. I mean, what's the news here? You've covered both Kim Reid and the Competition Commission in previous articles. You've just made a sensationalist headline for an article that's got nothing new to add. I don't get it.

They don’t package, do product quality control or verify “ fit for purpose - they are just a marketing forum, and as for junk as you say, try being discerning ....they do facilitate sales for dubious sellers who promote (offload) loads of chinese crap, probably mostly illegally imported.
