Order RAM that they claimed to have in stock now they're telling me I'll get it by the 30th. No way. Did Kalahari's poor service delivery come to TakeAlot?
Emailed their info department, but I'm not waiting that long. I need it by tomorrow or they can cancel the order. It used to be that items that were in stock would be delivered either same day or next day.

Shipping to the "Back seat of a Monza" probably takes a few extra days.
I've actually had much much better delivery times from kalahari compared to takealot .

One thing I hate about Takealot is that their preorder deliveries always come late and I end up receiving them 2 or 3 days after the given date even though they say pay 2 days before and receive it on the release date.

Wow I also ordered ram last night that was "in stock". I chose the more expensive one because of this.
Confirmation mail said it will be delivered by the 28th - Now on my order history it has changed to the 30th.
Not a good start of this merger, I hope they didnt take only the bad from kalahari ie *** service and not the good ie the vouchers

If they don't respond to my email I'll call them a bit later. I need that RAM by at the latest tomorrow. I won't even be at the delivery address on the 30th.
Hopefully this is not a sign of things to come. I've never had issues with them when items were listed as in stock. They've always shipped it out to me the same day if payment was received before 11AM.

Gave them a call and they said the item was busy being handed over to the courier. The lady said she'll keep an eye on it and request that they deliver it tomorrow, otherwise it will be here at the latest on Tuesday.
Really odd. Maybe it has to do with the new warehouse, but I've never waited this long for In Stock items.
Maybe they want to push their premium deliveries? Their efficient delivery system made it kinda pointless to shell out for faster deliveries.

With Kalahari closing their doors Takealot is going to experience a higher volume of sales so it makes business sense that they charge people extra to have their orders "prioritized".
I ordered some in stock items last night and received the ready for collection email this morning so I'm happy.

Not sure if their billing system was upgraded/changed - their order numbers jumped 2million in 2 days.

Yeah I should have opted for collection too. I could have been there and back by now.
That's the price of laziness, I guess.

VoucherCloud vouchers making a serious impact on demand on their website, with probably more new customers joining daily.. I have also noticed that normally delivery times would be around 1-2 working days that has now changed to 3 working day for deliver or worst their system isn't picking up the order & has to be manually added .
Majority of the stuff I want is out of stock or worst in stock, add to cart, check cart item vanished

They changed some product links recently, which broke the related wishlist items. Try searching for those products and then add them to your wishlist again.
Got an email earlier that said it will be delivered tomorrow...
