Like, I'm all for hating on companies when they do wrong. I think it's **** that TakeAlot used to offer the cheapest videogame pre-orders and now they're usually the most expensive. But let's not start fabricating reasons to hate TakeAlot.

In which case you probably have to deal with the shipping process yourself. TakeAlot managed the entire thing, right down to customs all the way to your door, on your behalf.

I don't really understand what the issue is. It seems people are actively looking for reasons to hate TakeAlot. They've only ever shown themselves to be a great company, from the 100 or so things I've ordered from them over the years.

Bought a projector from Amazon global was 7k cheaper after delivery/customs etc than any local sites/stores. They handled the delivery and clearance, took less than 7 working days to be at my door. Amazon global is fantastic so don't see why Takealot would bother....

Also, the amount that amazon charges for customs fees, if it turns out to be less they refund you and if it is more they cover the cost, no hidden surprises.

Takealot delivered my order to some random person and did not even try phoning me to do the delivery :/

I also received someone else's parcel today.They managed to sort it out pretty quickly though.

Hi guys...when will Takealot have big sales & free coupons like Kalahari did? Kalahari had better deals & promos...its why I always chose to shop with them...cheaper too!

Well that's just great, a neither here nor there reply. I'm thinking the sales and free coupons are the main reason Kalahari shut down. Takealot won't do the same.

Doubt it... Kalahari had far more issues than giving away free vouchers. Vouchers probably came out of their marketing budget. They could have cut down on those stupid Karl ahari ads and given more vouchers... Haha!
