Takealot are very aware of this thread. Did bring it to their attention.. I did ask if they can generate a generic code for Mybroadband forum members.. If they wanna stop abuse of vouchers ifs simple.. Everyone has to put their ID number linkedto account problem solved.

If we were in violation this thread would be shut down with immediate effect.. The poster had to take it further and email takealot asking them why isn't the voucher working

Agreed. Basically it's a promotion from their supplier. I got very cross with them wanted to purchase a Petrol Bush Cutter for R1499 upon checkout noticed the price jumped to R2199.. They lost a sale cause of that behavior.. Daily deals is like click bait marketing to encourage people to visit their site daily.

With regards to vouchers,or as one says "free-loaders" technically the voucher isn't free. It comes from their marketing budget instead of spending R200 k to air an advert on Television.. They pass this saving on to their customers in return their customer base will spread the word of takealot..

I introduced a friend to takealot thr other day she has already spent over R30 grand.. Aka Profitable customer she hasn't redremedy one voucher..

I dont buy products online on a monthly basis but only when there is a voucher. I have even purchased items i didnt need because I had a voucher.

Not unexpected, obviously. I've asked takealot to clarify what they consider authorized channels for sharing promotional codes. I've been shopping with them for many years, and it's extremely sad that honest customers get disadvantaged in this way.
