I normally do too. But this whole order was airtime and I didn't want to be a c%nt and make Takealot courier a pen.

One of these days they won't offer free courier fees on the app. I suspect something is up when I finalise the transaction. They keep track of every customer if they making profit or not. Upon checkout if your order is less than R250 it tells you R-35 + R50 voucher 85

Not necessarily. Remember that TL either ship direct to the client via FEDEX or through their MR D channels. I have noticed that loss making orders from me tend to come via MR D network as they obviously bundle all order boxes together and then send one big shipment to the local MR D branch where orders get split and organised for deliveries - this is much cheaper than individual FEDEX deliveries.

They may kill the "all app orders = free delivery" offer, but they could never kill the "orders over R250 delivered free" part as they would lose big sales. People will just go back to brick and mortar
 
Here's what I don't get. If you're R10 short why not just charge R10 for shipping? That's pure profit but now you add products for R10 to get free shipping of which perhaps R1 is profit.
