Takealot Vouchers (Begging) Thread

Just got an email from Takealot. They don't have any other stock of the camera so won't be replacing it with a new unit. Will provide credit on my account. Guess that's a great Takealot deal that turned into an utter nightmare.

Request a proper refund. Store credit is nonsense it just forces you to spend the money with them again.

That is utter bull**** from their side. HelloPeter it.
 
Been starting to get rather annoyed with them, order stuff only to find out from them they out of stock after placing the order.... This is happening way to regularly.

Their catalogue of items is shrinking horribly with longer dispatch times, buying most of my goods from RARU as of late.

Monthly vouchers are nowhere to be seen, even a R50 would do.

Don't get me started on their sister company Superbalist.

I haven't ordered from them since Christmas as I've found some places to be cheaper than them.

Bought my Corsair mechanical keyboard from Loot as Takealot only stock red cherry switches and were R500 more expensive. Even emailed to ask if they could ask their supplier if they have the brown switches and their answer was if it's not on the site, tough luck.
 
They still haven't gotten back to me about the 401 errors when using the IOS app.

Responses from their helpdesk staff range from reinstall the app, to log in and out, and checking that the phone's date is correct.
It's been 2 weeks of them asking that, so I've pretty much given up on TakeAlot ever fixing it.

Hm, ordered boardgame from Daily deals yesterday morning. Chose standard delivery. Delivered yesterday afternoon. 3rd or 4th time they've done that recently. grrrrr ;)

Cos the deals have been so crap this year, they have 50 delivery vans and 10 orders :p

I ordered textbooks in stock in Johannesburg on Thursday 21 Jan 12:00, received the parcel the next day Friday 22 Jan at 12:00 in Cape Town even though I was notified to expect delivery by the Tuesday 26 Jan. And it was the standard free delivery. Nice!
