Takealot Vouchers (Begging) Thread

Bought a msi 970 gaming motherboard for like R1000 less than the price for the new board. Just wondering if it's worth it or not. 6 months warranty is not bad obviously not the 3 years original warranty but there is some risk involved I think.

The 6 month warranty doesn't do it for me, especially for "just" R1000 off. I would rather buy a 6 month - 1 year old item secondhand and get a longer warranty. It will most likely be cheaper than Takealot's unboxed pricing as well.

Definitely not worth it on some items, on others warranty wouldn't really matter.

Got the items today. They look good. Still need to test it out on my Xbox and pc . but here are pics

Boxes are bit damaged but the control and battery packs look good. If it works it will be 100% worth it.

I got an "unboxed deal" when I bought a brand new camera. The camera had fingerprints and dust all over the lens. So for cameras I'd stay away.
