Another shocking thought: if they released 100 vouchers on KFM, and 100 on Highveld, it means their site can only process about 100 orders per hour.
 
Sucks. Tried for an hour, and each time it gave timeouts. Now the promo is over.
 
Arg, so bleek... Had a code and everything and then on payment it timed out...

Lol! Some bad design right there! Glad they are not selling tickets
 
Yeah same on my side, tried checking out a couple 100 times. Truly bleek end to the week.
 
I think their promo worked brilliantly. Look how just this thread spawned hundreds of pages of activity in just a week
 
Had the KFM voucher applied and then my session kept timing out repeatedly. On the 4th or 5th try the voucher must have expired since it was no longer valid. Oh, well. At least I got to use yesterday's ones.
 
Very good promo from Takealot, they would of gotten some nice exposure! Pity about the site crashing, but it was to be expected lol
 
Besides that, have you guys seen on Facebook the issues with yesterdays Winner, and the Fake account saga LOL. It's soooo funny. Looks like they gave a prize away to a fake account. :D

I missed the vouchers, but at least the item i wanted to buy is on a deal today. 1tb wd external hdd for R729
Happy now :D
 
If you buy a Cosmo/Good Housekeeping today you should be able to get a further R100 discount off the hdd price.
 
crap..hdd already bought. Ah well..I shall know better next time. So those codes are valid for any item?
 
Can't you cancel the order and reorder using the discount?
 
I see no way to cancel apart from contacting them.. Its fine, Il use the codes for the next time.
 
I tried this KFM200 code yesterday, code was accepted but each time I wanted to submit, the discount would disappear and then got the message "you do not qualify blah blah blah". Anyway, on the cosmo voucher issue, 1 voucher can only be used per registered email account and code is only valid till like the 20th June (but atleast it works).
