Okay with all this talk about Linux doing the rounds I've decided to take the plunge and get it *gulp*

Problem is when it comes so software I'm rather clueless :o. As Oddball once said "I only ride 'em, I don't know what makes 'em work" and that's XP not Linux.

So to start things off I see this thread http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=120294 has the links of where to get it......

As I stumble along I'll update this thread asking nay plead for assistance

Watch out!

Firefox -> Linux -> Communism.

Does Linux come with a free Che T-shirt?

Damit first hurdle. I'm running low on cap :mad:. So no downloading. Will be reading up on Ubuntu though

If you PM me your address I can drop off an Ubuntu 8.04 CD in your postbox? :D

*sigh*

I hate it when people know me and I have no idea who they are.

Care to drop some hints, alan? In return I'll come drop off Ubuntu :D

Same thing, really...

:D

If you put it that way... :D
Maybe we should just all post our addresses as our sigs. Mine would come out to be something like Node 4456 Galactica, and the rest I can't really remember. Feels so good not to be a regular earthling ;)

I'm looking to try OpenSuse as well. Want to get to know more than one flavour.
